Dressing a bump for the office can seem challenging but with the right maternity clothes, it doesn’t have to be difficult. Investing in a few great pieces can help make those discouraging mornings of not knowing what to wear more pleasing. Check out this list of staple pieces you can get reasonably priced.

1 – The Wrap Dress

This flattering dress was made for maternity! By drawing all eyes above the bump, the pregnancy wrap dress creates a flawless silhouette. Bold colors and florals are always popular options. Check out this dress from Pink Plush Maternity:

2 – A Black Blazer

No need to button up that bump. A nice black blazer over a wrap dress will give off that power vibe you’re looking to give! Also, this doesn’t have to be maternity. It can be the one you already own in your closet or check out your local consignment shop for a larger size.

3 – Tie Front Tunics

Even when we aren’t pregnant, tunics are comfortable yet stylish plus they cover our bum! A nice collar tunic can provide a more professional look. It can be flowy or add a tie around the belly to make it more form fitting.

4 – Fashion Can Also Be Comfortable

A nice rubber-soled flat will help keep your feet comfy plus keep you on trend. Make sure to buy a neutral color, like grey or black that can go with your professional wardrobe. I also recommend purchasing half a size up from your current shoe size since most likely your feet will swell towards the end of your pregnancy. For example, Clarks makes a great, stylish rubber-soled flat!

5 – The Simple Skinny Pant

The wide leg business pant has finally been replaced with the skinny. Thank goodness! Use of the word “wide” needs to be used as least as possible when you are pregnant. Luckily, there are numerous ones on the market now. Check out these maternity Stevie Pant Full-Panel Ponte Knit Pant by Old Navy:
